Cadillac Service Garage Wedding| Rachel & Bo | Greensboro NC Wedding Photographer

Raleigh-wedding-photography-37.jpg

This wedding had such significant meaning for me - Rachel is like family to us as she was the world’s best babysitter to our kids during her senior year at NC State. When she graduated I took her graduation photos and then even went on to photograph her Grandmother’s (yes Grandmother’s!) beautiful and intimate wedding. So of course I squealed with delight when she told me that she and her wonderful boyfriend Bo were engaged and that they wanted me to photograph their Greensboro wedding!

Rachel and Bo have been together since high school, and anyone that spends any amount of time with them can easily see how perfectly they fit together. They are both warm, kind, playful and super easy going.

Rachel and Bo got ready at their reception venue, the ultra cool Cadillac Service Garage - high ceilings, exposed brick and gorgeous black and white checkered floors made for a perfect place to get ready and take portraits before the ceremony. Their ceremony was held at the beautiful First Baptist Church in Greensboro, then it was back to the Cadillac Service Garage for the party!

There were too many wonderful moments to recount them all, but some favorites were Rachel and Bo’s first look, Bo’s brother’s heartfelt and touching reception toast (happy tears all around!), and the AMAZING band that had almost every guest on the dance floor all night long, However my favorite moment might have been the private last dance they shared at the very end of the evening after the guests had gone outside to get ready for their sparkler exit. It was just the perfect moment for them to be alone and take in all that had happened that wonderful day.

Enjoy a few favorites from their beautiful Cadillac Service Garage wedding and see below for all the talented vendors that came together to make this amazing day possible!

The Rachel May Workshop | Raleigh NC Film Photographer

Continuing education is very important to me, so taking two days to learn from talented industry professionals and make connections with other amazing photographers from across the country was a no brainer! I had so much fun at Rachel May’s workshop in Virginia at the lovely Catesby Farm Estate this past November! We ate amazing food, had insightful conversations, and drank all the wine (well I did, anyway). Rachel and Adriana (of Adriana Marie Events) were such wonderful hosts! I came away with new friends, a refreshed mindset and a long list of goals I wanted to tackle in the upcoming year.

Here a few of my favorite images from the beautiful styled shoot portion of the workshop! Vendor credits are below!
